cateringvanbuyer.com is a trading name used for the purchase of catering vans, food trucks, catering trailers, and similar commercial catering vehicles throughout the United Kingdom. Our head office is located in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
3. Valuations
All valuations provided through our website, by phone, or by email are free of charge and carry no obligation. Valuations are based on the information you provide to us about your vehicle and are subject to inspection. We reserve the right to adjust a valuation if the vehicle's condition differs materially from the description provided. A valuation is valid for 7 days from the date it is issued unless otherwise stated.
4. Sale Agreement
A binding agreement to sell is formed when you accept our offer and we confirm acceptance. By agreeing to sell your vehicle, you confirm that you are the legal owner (or have authority from the legal owner to sell), the vehicle is free from outstanding finance (unless disclosed and agreed), and all information provided about the vehicle is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
5. Payment
We will not take ownership until you have verified cleared funds are showing in your bank account. Payment is made by bank transfer to the account details you provide. It is your responsibility to ensure that the bank details you supply are correct. We accept no liability for payments made to incorrect accounts where you have provided inaccurate information.
6. Collection
We offer free collection from anywhere in the United Kingdom. Collection will be arranged at a mutually convenient time. You are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is accessible for collection at the agreed time and location. If we are unable to collect due to circumstances within your control (for example, the vehicle is not at the agreed location), we may need to arrange an alternative collection date.
7. Vehicle Condition
You must provide an honest and accurate description of your vehicle's condition when requesting a valuation. This includes disclosing any known mechanical faults, bodywork damage, missing equipment, or other defects. If the vehicle's condition at the point of collection differs significantly from the description provided, we reserve the right to renegotiate the price or withdraw our offer.
8. Documentation
At the point of collection, you will need to provide the registration document (logbook) where applicable, valid photo identification, and proof of address. For trailers and vehicles without a registration document, we can work with you on the necessary paperwork. You must also sign a transfer of ownership document at the time of collection.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel a sale at any time before collection takes place by contacting us by phone or email. Once collection has been completed and payment has been made, the sale is final. We reserve the right to cancel a transaction if we discover that the information provided about the vehicle was materially inaccurate or if we suspect fraudulent activity.
10. Limitation of Liability
While we take every care to ensure the accuracy of information on our website, we do not guarantee that it is complete or error-free. Our website is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or services.
